Well, as promised in this post from 15 January 2021, I am carrying forth with my plans to experiment on the site‘s appearance.
Right now, the banner looks like this:
It includes the site logo overlay, which I know is very simple, but this is a live exercise. 🙂 I made the banner using a photo I took, some after effects built into GIMP (open source image manipulation software), and then repeating some work over previous layers. The addition of the color certainly changes the look of the site. In addition, I changed the orange hyperlinks to purple – which, hopefully, closely matches my logo purple). More things will be changing over the next months as tweaks and polishes are published..
Today, I am submitting an order to a designer for another banner design idea. And, we shall see…
